Ouch! Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness

After my workout yesterday I am so sore! After looking up things on google about post-workout soreness, I diagnosed myself with DOMS. I just wanted to share some ways to aid in getting over it quickly.

1. Increase your post-workout protein intake. Make sure to get it in immediately after and increase it on your rest days.

2. Stretch before and after. Do yoga!

3. Take a hot bath.

4. Take some aspirin before bed.

5. Work through it! Don’t workout the same area two days in a row but make sure to not just stop if you get sore. The soreness is your muscle tissues tearing and repairing and growing. That’s the goal!
